Tractor Driver and General Farm Operator job in Aberdeenshire

  • Pay: £30,000 to £35,000 per year

  • Accommodation is Available
Deadline date: 30 Jun 2026
(61 days remaining)

We’re a progressive mixed farm in Aberdeenshire looking for a Tractor Driver and farm operator to join our team. You’ll be working across both arable and livestock operations, getting involved in slurry spreading, feeding livestock using machinery, silage work, bale handling, cultivation and supporting seasonal harvest work.

This is a varied, hands-on role, so if you enjoy getting stuck into all areas of farming rather than doing the same task every day, you’ll fit in well here. We also expect you to help with machinery upkeep and general farm maintenance when things are quieter. We offer a stable, supportive working environment and the chance to build experience across multiple areas of farming.

Requirements

  • Previous tractor driving experience
  • Confident using a range of implements (trailers, spreaders, feeders)
  • Basic mechanical and maintenance knowledge
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence

What’s Expected

  • Operate machinery safely and efficiently
  • Support both livestock and arable tasks as needed
  • Maintain equipment and report faults
  • Be flexible during peak periods (silage, harvest)
  • Contribute to the overall running of the farm

Accommodation Information

1 bedroom cottage available at a discounted rate for the right person.
