Stockperson/General Farm Hand job in Caithness

We are seeking a highly motivated, hard-working stockperson to work full-time on an extensive sheep and cattle farm in the North of Scotland. The farm provides a stunning backdrop with hills, valleys and coastal views!

Experience of working with cattle and sheep is essential. You will be working alongside the Farm Manager and with the wider Estate team, running approximately 1,500 ewes and 100 cows.

The successful applicant will ideally have an understanding of hill farming and must be capable of managing the physically demanding nature of this role.

A knowledge of working sheep dogs and a knowledge of tractor/forklift/ATV driving is essential, as is a willingness and enthusiasm to learn more.

Accommodation Information

Accommodation will be provided for a minimum rental charge of £21.00 per month.

The house is of a good standard with kennel space for dogs on site.
