Trainee Farm Hands job in Edinburgh
We are looking for 2 trainee farm hands to join our growing family farm operation. We are based just outside Edinburgh, Scotland but can provide accommodation.
Our farm consists of various livestock; cows, sheep and others.
We are a livestock farm but also have activities, cafe and summer events too which you would be tasked with helping with at times.
This is a trainee position so all training will be provided. We want to hire 2 trainees to develop into experienced farm workers over time. This is for a career and not just a temp job. Please don’t apply if you want a short term job.
You should have:
- A can do attitude
- Ability to work in a team and alone
- Be able to work with your hands and on general DIY jobs
- Full driving license, or working towards it
- Ability to work with dogs
Ideally, candidates should have experience or qualifications in any form of farm or livestock – not required, though.
This is a full-time job. We can only offer the job to people with the ability to work in the UK already.
Accommodation Information
Accommodation is available and free. You will have a room in our family house which comes with an en-suite and large living area.
There are other options available for anyone wanting a more private setting.
