Farm Hand job in Suffolk
We’re looking for a general Farm Hand to join us on a busy farm in Suffolk.
This is a hands-on role with a bit of everything involved, depending on the time of year. Some days will be spent helping with livestock, other days working around the yard, helping with machinery, fencing or general maintenance jobs. We’re looking for someone who’s happy to get stuck in and help wherever needed. There is career progression if you are in farming long term too.
Main duties will include:
- Feeding and checking livestock
- Yard cleaning and maintenance
- Assisting with tractor and machinery work
- Fencing and basic repairs
- Moving equipment and materials
- Helping during busy periods such as silage and harvest
- General farm duties
We don’t expect someone to know everything, but a good attitude and willingness to learn are important. Some previous farm or outdoor work experience would be useful, but reliability matters more than anything.
We’re a small team and just want someone dependable who turns up and gets on with the work.
