Assistant Herd Manager job in Kent

  • Pay: £32,000 to £40,000 per year
  • 40 hours per week
  • Accommodation is Available

We’re looking for someone to come in as an Assistant Herd Manager on our dairy farm near Tenterden.

You’ll be working alongside me day to day, helping run the herd and keeping things moving as they should. The job covers all the usual dairy work — milking, feeding, bedding, monitoring herd health, and stepping in for calving when needed.

I’m looking for someone who already knows their way around a dairy setup and can take a bit of responsibility. You don’t need to run everything yourself, but you should be confident enough to make decisions when needed and to keep standards up.

There’s a good setup here and a solid routine in place, so it’s more about keeping things consistent and spotting anything that needs attention. It’s a small team, so you’ll need to work well with others and get on with the job.
