Livestock Assistant job in Yorkshire

Would suit someone with an interest in livestock and looking to build experience working with animals.

Hill farm based near Skipton, specialising in sheep and a small beef herd.

Looking for a Yard and Livestock Assistant to help with daily routines.

Main duties to include feeding, checking livestock, assisting with lambing, moving stock, cleaning out sheds, fencing and general yard work.

The ideal candidate should be hardworking, reliable and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions. Experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.

A “can do” attitude and willingness to get stuck in is important.

We have caravans available that can be rented for a very small fee. These have all the normal utilities and come with access to internet.
