Broiler Shed Manager job in Powys

We are a mixed farm of cattle, arable and poultry in Llanbister, Mid Wales. We are looking for a poultry shed manager for our 5 broiler sheds, housing over 200,000 birds.

The manager will be expected to have previous experience managing broiler sheds so they’re able to control the feed, water and heating systems. They will be expected to respond to alarms. We’re a family farm and help will be given for daily tasks such as littering and clearing dead. Each cropping cycle is 7 weeks then there will be 7 days off. The first 3 weeks of each crop is lighter work.

An attractive 2 bedroom property and garden can be provided after a trial period. Wage is negotiable, and we are happy to do a bonus scheme based on bird performance.

Car required.

Property is a 1 minute drive from the poultry site.

2 bedroom barn conversion with a large garden.

Utilities are to be paid by yourselves.
